18 sept 2009 friday: i went to drink with sean, xh, alouis, Kai Le and Felicia and their friends

19th sept 2009 saturday: went to sentosa with xh

20th sept 2009 sunday: headed to shop in town and bought myself a few tops from fourskin, met amanda at the corner shop

21st sept 2009 monday: headed to shop in tampines and got myself a hoodie and belt from uniclo, met joseph and eric at some exercise shop. i think eric took quite some time to recognise me with my baldness.

its been such a long time since my last post, haha well i’m pretty fine in camp i would say if anyone is concerned. no ‘te kan-ing’ from my superiors as most of them are pretty nice.

and im helping out with some pretty interesting stuff in YOG (which i am not allowed to reveal due to security reasons) but the experience is very different from the rest of the NSFs i would say. More like a once in a lifetime experience.

i love the food in my camp lah. hahaha! and i kinda love the people in the camp, the clerks especially, though we might be the nerds in camp, but its pretty cool to be the ONLY nerds in camp, and people don’t mess with you that much either as you could die. hahaha! (jk)

My 3 days of awesomeness

day 1

I woke up late today, it was a good day, yeah but I woke up due to a phone call, and yes I was supposed to meet kah leong for lunch, I totally forgot about that matter, really sorry about it bro.

So I met him up at around 12.45pm eventually, had KFC and talked a little, it was a nice catching up as we talked about interesting matters going on.

We left at around 2pm as he had to go to a party and was meeting Eneida. I guess the thing I like about meeting with kah leong’s the fact that though the meetings may be short but the conversations are always awesome; so yeah, hope I have the time, and vice versa,  for future meet ups.

After kah leong left, I did quite a few things. I guess it’s never really boring when you put me and shopping together.

-          i headed into top shop to check out some jeans and all

-          then to uni-clo for some time to check out the jeans and the flannel shirts. I want a flannel shirt! But theres no S size for me. Pretty sad.

-          and then to the rest of the clothes store to check out their clothes

-          and even to the specs shop to check out my nerd specs

It was funny, I was at a spec shop in Tampines mall when I asked the staff to get me a pair of nerd specs. Without even considering how poor looking I was, he went to grab the POLICE branded nerd spec which costed 200 bucks; I was like ‘erm my budget 60 bucks only leh’

But there wasn’t any of course.

i went to another store to get the specs but then the specs there were not very nice so i ask if i could use my own frame instead and he agreed.

i was like “wa really ah?”

and he was like “why u dont trust me?”

lawl.

i afterward, headed to suntec for the IT show, but while i was heading to cityhall i thought i should just get the specs from bugis since the previous design was awesome. so i did, i dropped off at bugis instead.

went to a few stores before i got my specs

the uncle was like “ahh army discount lah” and gave me a dollar off the spec. so I paid like say 9 bucks?

i then walked all the way to suntec after navigating my way.

So i was like talking to Evelyn and wonder when she would be having dinner with me since im going to the army soon, and she agreed to meet me up today since she was free.

Anyway i got to suntec convention hall and went to find Chanel. it was nice talking to her lah, we crapped about a lot of stuff and caught up on our lives. lovers to friends but still awesome lah. (Mac still rocks more then fujitsu please)

Chanel asked me to buy for her her caramel frapechino with java chip so yeah again, being an awesome friend, I agreed to do so.

Xh reached after awhile, thus I left Chanel and i headed with Xh to the Seagate counter to get my hard disk. I actually want to get the red colour hd but they dont have it, and i actually wanted to just get the 320 gig hd but xh made me buy the 500 gig one since its more worth it.

Yes so I did 2 things which I did not mean to do, in that one very second.

Loving the new extra space though, and pretty much more relaxed as all my backed up data rested only on that very one hard disk before.

After buying the Hard disk, we went all the way down the elevators to lvl 1 to get the starbucks for chanel, and regretted it straight away for not taking the lift since the escalators and crowd was pretty much crazy.

We got the coffee and took the lift back up to find Chanel, and talked alittle more while Xh accompanied me.

and it’s not i dont send ppl home hor its like need to catch last bus mah

So we left Chanel to continue her boring job, walked around suntec to take a look at some nike bag

and then to toy r us to play around before going to the arcade for a game

then to some sword shop

and everywhere else before finding evelyn as she finally arrived

went to just noodles to have our dinner, kinda miss that place, yeah Miss lee silly asshole ?

it was nice. haha i havent talked to Evelyn for sometime too

chatted and watch while she got owned by 2 kids (as in the kids just cut the line infront of her while she was queuing icecream lah then she cant do anything cause they were kids)

haha anyway evelyn’s friend arrived shortly and we headed to town for coffee club before xh and I catching bus 65 home and watched silent hill till morning.

day 2

Xh and I woke up late again; and well stayed at home slacking for awhile since I was raining.

We then went to marine parade roxy square to find vionna and hao for wan ton noodles

then after eating we went to marine parade to walk around and get our food supplies for our steamboat at night at cold storage. kinda stupid ah go high class place buy when theres giants nearby.

got to vionnas house.

i fell aslp

when i woke up steamboat was ready and we just ate

could not finish the food at all lor

too bad.

went home afterwards

watched tenacious D till we crapped our pants

day 3

woke up pretty late today at around 2 plus

xh was a lazy ass

got ready at like 5 plus and headed to vivo city at 6 plus

intending this to be a sentosa trip, thus i wore shit wear while xh wore her blue sexy presentable top oh yeah

like the last time we were at vivo, it was too late and we ended up just staying in vivo city again doing nothing.

xh ate almost all my cookies

walked around vivo, headed to zara and topshop, I tried out some checked tops, I look hot, xh tried out some tops as well, she looked hotter.

Fooled around with the imac in the store

and since i had a thumbdrive, i transfered everything into it.

walked around more, aimlessly

sat awhile more at the open area on top of vivo facing the sea

ok then we headed back to tampines.

i slept like a goddess in the mrt while xh was awake. what an asshole. she tried to prevent me from slping on the women beside me. i think the women wants me to slp on her actually.

hahaha im so awesome.

Enlistment day

xh accompanied me to camp with my mom, my dad drove us there,

said bye bye to my hair. took the oath and laughed terribly at the part where everyone said their own NRIC and name, cause it was so jumbled up as everyone was saying a different thing, all this while xh and my mom was behind me.

i think i was the only one that laughed out l0ud.

On saturday, 5th september 2009, i headed to the airport with my family.

yes yes, 5th sept’s nerd’s birthday. It must have been awesome.

oh yes where was i? yes yes, i headed to the airport with my family and it was great.

I have yet to have a family outing on a weekend since my father’s business started to deteriorate a few years back, and somehow I kinda miss his presence around the house. Especially on Saturday mornings as most of the time, by the time i’m awake, he would already be off to work.

We headed to the airport, My mom, my dad, my youngest brother and me. My second brother had some church thingy i think and was already out of the house pretty early in the morning.

we headed down to the airport terminal 3 as they have not really seen how it is like. it was pretty fun being a kid all over again, and i would say i act very differently when i’m with my parents, you would never see a mature side of me while i’m with them.

it was nice  having dinner with them, and too getting some stuff from the nearby fairprice, and the kinder bueno and all.

i remember using my lil brother’s phone to take some pictures and pretty much making a fool out of my self.

“i can’t believe you’re my brother!” he sighed.

haha it was awesome, i have a brother that’s pretty much more mature then me. One of the reasons why alot of people ask me if im the youngest in the family since the youngest in the family’s usually the one who’s the most mischevious.

anyway dad sent me and the family back to tampines while i got off at the tampines control station to take the MRT to meet xh at tiong baru; as we were going to have a drinking session with vionna. Candy was suppose to come but she had an eye infection. poor girl, well theres always another time

I reached tiong baru early, because xh was late as usual. I managed to check out some razor mouses, sling bags and even having enough time to break the record for outrun2 at the residential arcade. (yes she is that late)

The sexy ass finally arrived, and we headed down to vionna’s house to met her up while she prepares for the trip, you know the usual massive makeup session and all, girl stuff.

Well we got lost on the way though, missing our bus stop, having to take the opposite side of the similar bus to head back to where we were suppose to be at, and even mistook Vionna’s door. yes i guess it had been some times since the last visit. (having sushi while you’re lost’s pretty perfect though)

it was awesome i would say as i have not met vionna for ages. I was given a  friendly welcome by vionna’s awesome friendly dad and ah boy; then came an unfamiliar face.

hmmm.. who could it be? honestly speaking, i thought it was just a normal friend for vionna. but it turned out otherwise. there was a boy infront of it

oh yes and it was pretty funny to see vionna’s face when she found out that xh and i were together.

we head down to some pub at tiong baru for the drinks, thanks for the lumbo vionna; sorry that i was unable to finish it. blame it on gag reflexes.

vionna’s boy got totally wasted, we had a little supper, and then since it was late, xh dropped by my house for a stayover.

Sunday, 6th september 2009

xh and i headed down to vivo city to meet vionna for a movie. we headed down pretty late as xh was feeling alittle unwell. poor girl.

vionna was unable to make it in the end as she had something that held her up.

so xh and i randomly caught a midnight show called ‘i love you, beth cooper’

the show was pretty b rated, unknown artists, an ugly nerd for a main lead who chokes on his lines and has expressions of a 90 year old, a hot babe for female lead, and some pretty unrealistic stuff that was basically too chessy to be funny, and predictable enough to see it coming. the whole show was pretty flat, there wasn’t any climax at all, it did not show why the guy liked the girl, or how it developed over time… and the main lead was ugly lah. wtf lor, i thought they always get handsome nerds at least.

i think i should just stop watching movies.

Tuesday, 8th september 2009 to the wee mornings of ‘9/9/09′

I got off work at around 8 today to meet up with Eunice and Adele apparently; at least that was what i thought were the people present.

however it turned out that sean, brian, adria, shi ying, yann were there as well.

haha i pretty much expected how the conversation would be like and i think i updated you guys enough of the whole situation for queries to be solved yeah?

“fred damn gay lah you, damn gay” said sean, and it had no linking to homosexuality whatsoever i must remind.

After the meal, yann drove us home, sean and the rest dropped off to take the last train home;thus leaving just brian, me, eunice and yann in the car.

yann took the wheel at first, we got lost and headed all the way to changi airport before having to u-turn back to pasir ris since yann had to meet her friend at down town east. Thus yann dropped off to meet her friend while eunice took over the wheel.

now guys, heres the fun part. eunice is an excellent driver. and we are all very scared indeed…

haha ok im kidding. eunice’s awesome, we didn’t kill anyone so its still fair game. so anyway we headed all the way down to pasir ris control station to fetch adele before driving down to changi village for tim sum and tranny hunting

i pretty much liked how the conversation went. it was a nice catching up.

oh yeah we then sent brian home before getting lost for an hr and then finally reaching home.

thanks for the awesome day. haha it made going to the army so much more pleasent.

After work i headed to douby ghaut to find cindy, joey (who happens to be nerd’s classmate, i never knew she was in nafa until recently actually) and clement (joey’s bf).

it was a long time since i last met them up, and they suggested we go play left4dead.

hahaha! i dont know shit about the game lah but its super fun can! lol! i can still imagine xh staring at the screen not knowing what to do. haha next time we go play again k?

haha updated alot of stuff with cindy and vise versa, interesting topics i would say, even till the extend of photoshop and your mama jokes. haha!

well headed home on the bus with joey and cindy since we all stay in tampines, while clement when home on his bike.

and it was nice that the bus ride was long cause it gave us more time to talk.

Last Saturday was an interesting day i would say.

I went to take a final look at my dad’s shop; though it needs to be closed down ultimately, when it actually happens, its pretty sad; even i was a little reluctant to see it die just like that. A segment of my childhood literally surrounds it.

what goes away, comes back in another way.

oh anyway..

I surprised XH with Final Destination 4 tickets (alright maybe not that much of a surprise since meeting at cineleisure pretty much killed everything) and we headed down to Cineleisure to watch it; i would rate it pretty alright even though many of my peers have rated it otherwise. You’d find the twist at the end interesting if you paid attention to the introduction, thats all i would say.

Other then that, the character introductions were retarded to the maximum. Extremely typical way of getting the ’survivors’ out of the scene of destruction and very typical character types used over and over in the F.D franchise.

oh oh but the flying objects towards us was awesommee. haha its was pretty cute to see Xh cowering while the objects ‘fly’ towards us. *oops shouldn’t have said that out*

Oh yeah did i mention that after that we walked all the way to douby ghuat for mos burger and then to esplanade for the bay beats 2009?

Awesome eh?

Well we missed the last train and pretty much walked around, even slacking around butter factory till the morning. I would say that the place looks pretty poshed; and the club was packed lah, i can now understand why its the hottest club in town recently.

Well that said, i haven’t been blogging about my thoughts lately, so i guess i should do it now.

Hmm… i guess my emotions are pretty stable now. i live a stable life. i like my job, i don’t mind going to the army, i have a very understanding girlfriend, and my ties with my family have been pretty strong since my father closed down his business.

I realised that some problems are pretty much none existant once you get over it. Like love problems for example, i was heading out to work today when i bidded good bye to my family; it was there that i realise that family’s always there for you. Love can be lost, but Love can be found again; and i pretty much found that thingy you call loovv… (alright i’m still pretty reluctant to say it, but thats just me).

Hmm… what else. Oh yeah i guess i wanna say, don’t be angry, smile, exercise regularly, have your breakfast and work hard for life, only when you find your passion in life would you truely enjoy it, and only when you slow down to sniff the roses would you be one with it.

work hard play hard and stay out of drugs.

stop being pissed with life, do something about it.
