Sending a good friend off
Today i worked hard, as i wanted to get my designs out fast. I love my job and there are so much to learn from Leo and the rest of the designers.
I sent Kaira off today, right after work, she’s going to new zealand to further her studies. I know she would be a great doctor when she comes back home, she’s a really strong individual; and when i have the money, i would go study as well; alone, in a foreign land. Its only when you watch a movie yourself do you really understand independence. I’m ok with being alone, though i love my friends alot.
Annnyyway.. i still have 2 years of NS to go before i head off on my journey…; I’m living my dream as a designer right now… next i would open my own company… and then my own car… my own house… damn…. my own life.
Shit, why am i having this weird concoction of emotions, its like i’m at the top of my life with everything, and yet again, i have nothing at all…

My trip around the ‘world’
Today was a real tiring but fulfilling trip for me, which revitalised me fully for me to continue my work.
I went for a job interview in the morning, for a designing job, a company which design banners for food. I got the job surprisingly 
Anyway while heading back home, i decided to do alittle detour and headed down to chinatown instead. To gather some inspiration for the RP sling back design; i even dropped by my favourite Forth Art Gallery to give Justin a visit, he was kind enough to allow me a place to design and even allowed me some reference from his books in the gallery. I asked for Kelvin, but was sad to be told that he had left the gallery for other pursuits.
Anyway i didnt stay long in the gallery, i walked around chinatown looking for inspiration, but was constantly distracted by the stuff over there, for example first i was distracted by McDonalds (food!), then i was distracted by a real cool Adidas ring, and then again were some really nice shades which i think i would have bought immediately should not be on a tight budget.
Anyway i can honestly say i covered every single part of chinatown, even walking to such an extend that i reached the singapore red dot musuem of design, which is at tanjong pagar. From Chinatown walk to Tanjong Pagar leh! haha I even entered some run down mall to check out what there have in there, as expected, this places were full of massage parlours, handphone shops and computer repair offices, oh and travel agencies. The usual nonsense.
Since i need not head for the other interviews that i had earlier planned, i headed back to Forth Art Gallery to bid goodbye to Justin before heading home on the MRT station.
I did something really retarded in the station though, i tapped in one side of the station, entered it, walked all the way across and tapped out on the other side of the station without noticing what i was doing. lol my money gone just like that. Really embarrassing-.-
Anyway i made another detour when i was heading home. I dropped at (guess?) eunos, when to the MLM bastard company to take a piss before grabbing a bus to geylang.
Why geylang? haha which place better then geylang do you get the best food in singapore (and since i was designing food signs, i might as well do some research) and which place in singapore do all vices united, yes, geylang again! While walking along the path ways, i observed different pimps getting ready for their daily businesses. Illegal runners warning their ‘brothers’ of cops approaching.
I so wished i had a DSLR right there and then, its just so…real.
Anyway grabbed a drink (non alcoholic one) and headed back home by 7, and dived right back to designing.
I’m living my dream bit by bit…happily indulging.

Valentine’s Day 2009
This Valentine’s day eve, i went with Rachel to a O’learys for dinner after work, i looked like crap but luckily she didn’t really mind. Had a nice chat and found her to be a great fun buddy girl The kind that you could talk dirty joke with and laugh about gay porn 
Valentine’s Day was a work day for me, went around Bukit Panjang to market the merchandises for my company, and then cabbing back to the company to return the merch before rushing off to meet Vionna and Candy at Cineleisure as they were participating in the ‘FREE HUG’ event. Looked alot more shitty then the day before, but the night was fun with the two nonsenstical duo. We spent it playing truth or dare right outside the park hotel (party world entrance), can you believe it? o.o
Anyway, no dates for Valentine’s day? No problem. I can live being single 
I DID spend a V’day once 2 years back at a coffeeshop getting drunk with beer. Also the previous valentine was with a date but that doesn’t make it any happier does it? yeah?
oh yeah, i think i’m alittle fucked up in my circuits after working for my company for some time, while walking along orchard road, and looking at all the sweet looking couples, two things came to mind..
number 1) oh how sweet, i hope they’ll make it in life, shag, and make babies
number 2) damn look at all those cash cows i could be making off
haha seriously, V day is a freaking commercialized gimmick to make money off people. tsk where are my merchandises when i need them!

My adaptation
I realised that i adapted to the style of my job pretty fast in fact. I no longer feel tired when i wake up at 6am in the morning and i no longer feel hungry during lunch when i am out in the field (which isn’t really that great).
I also realised that i am a fucking sore loser. haha! I’m the die die must win type when it comes to performance-.-
I realised that my love for design’s more then my love for money (which is quite unbelievable actually, even to me)
…and lastly such that i am actually a pretty independent and free loving guy.
(i want to complain about something though, even though i get to wear smart formal clothes while working which really is quite nice, i really miss my arty farty casual clothes, which actually brings out who i am)
haha i miss the pinnacle gang and everyone else-.- damn
Bad start
A bad way to start a relationship would be “hey you remind me of my ex” haha. i guess thats where the [X] comes in ;P
