Anyway… i went prawning with Kah Leong, Fon, Qing Yi and Serene during Christmas night. Not before dropping by Vivo for a chat with Ailin though.
Well i was kinda late by 30 mins, but i wasn’t the last one hah! Well poor Serene waited for an hour for us to reach -.-

After that, we went to Vin’s house for majong session (i still suck as hell, should you guys be mistaken that i play majong for a living) and headed down to changi village to have breakfast at Vin’s mom’s stall. His mom makes the best toasts ever!
I headed home to slp while Vin and Fon headed to the CDC to register for their driving license and head to Malaysia in the afternoon.
Hah what a night! lol refreshing change to what Christmas’ suppose to be like ;P
A Quiet Christmas Eve
I spent Christmas in my grandmother’s house today.
I couldn’t go to Brian’s church for an afternoon filled with Christmas carols, Christmas trees and words of praise for the lord,
i couldn’t go to Bi’s house for the Christmas Eve and stay over for the count down to Chirstmas, nor have dinner with the The Pinnacle crew at newton,
i couldn’t go drinking with Eric, Eugene, Tai Nian, Kelvin and En Rui after Tai Nian’s work,
I couldn’t get drunk enough to embrace Christmas’s beauty without the snow.
I had to worry about the concept of my Gallery in *scape and how am i to manage my team with all this shit going around recently.

My 2 Born Talents
i have 2 born talents, drawing and running. I started drawing as soon i landed my hands on my first box of colour pencils and i started running as soon as i learned to walk.
The thing about talent, is that you’re just born good at it. I was always the first few in line during 1.6km runs and i was always the one the art teacher praises to the entire class.
I just ran 20 laps today at the tampines stadium, to release me from the stress from FYP and to balance up the chemical imbalance due to all the late nights doing designing and writing.
I think i found something back from my childhood. something that i always loved.

Went baking with Ivy after accompanying her to sent her puppy bibi for vaccination. Really fun haha though it was abit Chao Ta, but still editable!

Last Saturday, I went swimming in the morning; that was when i met Peter, a 55 year old retiree, who used to be a broker/property agent. We kinda started chatting while i was resting by the pool. He looked young for his age, with bald head, tanned skin and a pretty toned body, he pretty much reminded me of such men in movies where they head to charity events with a pretty wife on their left and a personality to kill on the right.
Very much so, Peter is a very good man from my point of view. You could tell that he has many friends from the various individuals he chatted/ said hi to while our conversation progressed.
I managed to find out that he’s single, used to work overseas as a property agent; and made pretty much alot of it. He had only an A level qualification but was somehow able to be the best of the best probably, again, due to his personality i might say.
He pretty much had the experience and wise words of a wise old men; when i asked him about individuals that he serve while he was a property agent; if there were such people who because of their money, end up thinking higher of themselves to Peter. Peter replied “Yes of course, but due to the job and the experience, it teaches me how to live life with a humble pie, it makes me… a better person this way. They will always be people like that, but thats where you realise that you do not want to be someone like that.”
It was very much true. I do not deny that i am an arrogant individual at times, because of that quality, i am who i am today. I never liked being second; thus i fight for recognition among peers and my superiors without fear.
Peter told me to understand the difference between fighting and living, though fighting for something might be great, fighting for something isn’t living for something when all you do is continue the fight. Even warriors require rest before epic journeys. He suggested that sometimes, one have to learn acceptance of one’s capabilities, “you should fight, you should do your best in everything you do, but should you not turn out to be the best, fret not, as not everyone’s built the same. Some are just better then others in certain areas.”
I will most probably remember that should i do my work in future, I know that without a twist of the neck that i would continue with my rampage towards the top; however I’ll try to learn my limit, only with adaptation would i understand it however. Only time will tell.

After the morning enlightenment, i headed down to Orchard to discuss the exhibition with Jerry, I think Jerry is a very capable individual; its just that he’s pretty defensive at times and sparks fly due to such cases. However the discussion was pretty fruitful, alot was said and alot was confirmed on the spot. That is how a meeting is supposed to be like! I never liked individual who shut up during meetings and let time fly pass. I never liked individuals who had to rush off after meetings too before the meeting is completed. Whats the point of a meeting without a conclusion in the first place? Right?

Headed down to Vivo to find Kah Leong, dropped by Ailin’s store in the mean time since she was working that time. Walked around Vivo ‘people watching’ (i guess you guys should know what that means yeah?). I was sitting outside in the open area where me and YY used to sit at 2 years ago when someone familiar appeared. It was eric and Tze Chong and the other friend who i saw at the zoo the other time *cough*. Well they were trying to find a good enough area to watch the sunset, so i walked around with them while waiting for KL. I haven’t seen them for ages. Kinda missed them actually hah!
KL arrived and i headed down to the Habour Front MRT station to meet him. Waited a million years for Fonnis to arrive before heading down to ZoukOut;
The night was awesome i must say, the crowd was great, the music was great, the DJs were awesome and the bikini babes were overwhelming. I swear i have never seen that many half naked girls before.
Was able to shuffle my hearts out, on the sand, which I had to constantly cover while shuffling to prevent me from digging a hole in the ground.

Sharon joined us with her 2 malay friends during the trip. Disco Disco!
Anyway we were there all the way to 7am, we got our breakfast and headed back home, me and KL on the bus while Fon and Sharon via MRT if I’m not wrong.
The bus was freaking cold.

Got home after the bus ride, slept till around 5pm, prepared myself and headed down to Fonnis’s BD at Park Hotel in Orchard at 7pm. The BD was great but with some unexpected twists. It was still pretty awesome though, I’m pretty surprised no one complained.
Xing Er was dead drunk after the first cup, so was KL, next was Fonnis after our plot to make her drunk and last was Hamster; didn’t catch much sleep as it’s a little waste to sleep in a $200+ hotel room ah lol!
People who were there were Hamster, Joe, Fonnis, Pei Xing, Xing Er, Mary, KL, Sharon (i’m just trying to remember the names as such)

Anyway, you know right? I was thinking; I haven’t been pondering about relationships since the last break up. I guess i’m just not as affected by them as before. With life as tough as it is, why would i give myself additional worries by placing relationship into the concoction. Seriously, i don’t find a need for them unless its really someone I like very much. My taste for girl’s pretty fucked up anyway, i don’t even know how i arrived at that preference but thats just it i guess. Any kinda girl outside of the preference may take some time to get used to.
I need to focus on my dream anyway.
When will i get my first Million? Soon i hope.

Dusting the place alittle
I know i havent blogged in awhile, and this place is getting boring. Haha hey what! I dont have a life! What am i suppose to blog about-.- well i could blog about filming with TCP The Pinnacle but I’ll most probably blog it so terribly that even with all that activities going on, my post will sound like a documentary about dead frogs. Well i could talk about how hard i have been working on my FYP and why the hell i am up at 7 in the morning when i do not have school today but it’ll most likely sound like a cheap way of self promotion. So i’m not going to try that either. I’m going to try something though…

MAAD at Red Dot Museum
Headed down to Red dot museum today to check out MAAD’s event where great illustrators and artists set up their booth at the area, managed to get some name cards as well as a silkscreen printed bag there.
ALLLLSOOO, i got to meet up with the marketing manager of crowningstroke who i am collaborating with for my FYP, Kossy, who turned out to be reaaally nice! haha i hope my exhibition would be successful or i swear i would let my curating and illustrative skills die in dumps.

Hanya Mask
I was doing a little painting at home today when i started conceptualising a hanya mask, after which i got onto photoshop and illustrator and pictured it out. I know its kinda rushed but i pretty much liked how it went. Very Zen like design. SImple and to the point, just like myself.
